"Petrel"Born and raised in Long Island, the Petrel sisters were introduced to the art harmony and stage presence by their musical family at an early age. As children, most of the girls’ 3 part harmonizing and encore performances took place at the church where their father ministered. However, it wasn’t long after their dad recognized that his daughters’ talents were destined for something bigger.

The girls soon found themselves – all underage – playing some of the hippest, most well known venues in NYC. At each show the crowds seemed to grow larger and larger, until Petrel soon was known throughout New York for their big talents and for turning out an even bigger audience! Adding to their local concerts, the girls began with what is now their annual trip to Mexico and Haiti where they perform for some of the country’s most impoverished children also bringing food, clothing and toys. Their evening concerts draw many and through their music many lives are inspired. Justine Magazine said it well “Petrel sees music as a sort of medicine for the soul and they pour their heart and soul into everything they do. These three sibs are putting good fortune to use and helping those less fortunate than themselves. Petrel’s commitment to giving back and performing is music to our ears.”

"Petrel"In 2008, Petrel set out for their first 17 city national tour opening for Razor & Tie’s platinum selling Kidz Bop series. They played for sold out crowds at stadiums across the U.S. including the House of Blues in Chicago, Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion in New Hampshire, and the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. Petrel rocked every performance, leaving their young fans enamored and inspired.

Once the tour wrapped, Petrel had other performances that include “Disney’s Indie Fest USA” in Downtown Disneyland in Anaheim, CA., Pre-game show for the Orlando Magic and The Michael Jackson Thriller 25th Anniversary Fan Event Tribute in Times Square, NY.

The girls have also done acoustic performances at Bloomingdale’s special event, Girls Night Out and Sephora’s “Toys of Hope Holiday Toy Drive”. Their songs have hit airwaves in the New York area, including radio tours on local college campuses.

"Petrel"And it didn’t stop there… Petrel also has had the privilege of singing the National Anthem for an NBA Game at the Sacramento Kings’ Arco Arena and recording at The Palms in Las Vegas. When it comes to the recording process, lead vocals are empowered by Jessica. Rebekah records keyboard, drums, and background vocals and Destiny records acoustic and electric guitars and background vocals. They’re not only accomplished musicians, but also songwriters. The girls thrive off building songs creatively and lyrically, writing about their own life experiences and relating well to their generation.

This inspired a move to Los Angeles where Petrel has been able to find a look that matches perfectly to their up-beat, pop/rock sound. Most recently, Petrel signed with Johnny Wright who has managed pop acts like Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and Jonas Brothers to name a few.

Whether they’re rocking in the clubs of Greenwich Village, on a 17 city national tour or playing for crowds of kids at places like Disneyland in Anaheim, CA or Bloomingdales in the heart of NYC, it doesn’t take long for audiences to fall in love with and sign up to be official members of Team Petrel. This sister trio is set out to make pop music history!
