"Aron Daniels 277 x 180"Aron Daniels is 32 year old married father of 1, and a lifelong CT resident. Aron is also a proud childhood Cancer survivor (16 years remission), passionate about his family, travel, and living life. His life experience has taught him to appreciate the simple things and to share his passion with others. Aron’s career as a Leisure Travel Sales Manager & Senior Travel Consultant allows him to do that daily in his work as well as in his extensive travels from Bora Bora to Belize, Paris to Belize, and Costa Rica to Iceland. But the one thing Aron has a real passion for, is craft beer.

Along the way he began to delve into beer, like any college age guy would. However, it wasn’t until his mid-20′s when he began to gain interest in the extensive and ever growing world of “craft beer”. Samuel Adams was his gateway from your average lager or ale into the seemingly endless variety of craft available. From that point, Aron’s passion began to grow along with his knowledge through building contacts within the industry, visiting his local breweries and refining his palate by tasting numerous styles of beer through trial and error. Aron’s wife inspired the idea to share his thoughts and insights with others as a hobby which led to a FaceBook page dedicated to all things “craft” about 2 years ago. CraftBrewGuy was a name that popped in his head one day so he ran with it and now many refer to him as “CBG” for short.

In the past few years Aron has been fortunate enough to visit nearly 50 breweries from all over the world, as well as attend numerous brewfests and beer related events such as open houses, brewery tours, and underground beer geek meetups. By supporting and promoting the growth of the industry as a whole with a focus on local breweries in Connecticut, Aron has been able to gain respect and friendship from many within the community. He offers multiple posts daily thru is FaceBook page “CraftBrewGuy” sharing breaking beer related news, brewery updates, event postings as well as personal insights and updates. Just recently Aron began to print promotion items such as stickers & magnets to hand out in order to grow what he refers to as “the REVOLUTION” thru his social media outlets and the response has been very positive.

Aron’s main objective is to inform, educate and share in all things craft beer related through social media and personal interaction. Earlier this year he ran a bottle & can drive to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He has plans to grow his ideas locally, and is excited about the recent craft boom in his home state of Connecticut.
